About this Garden Plan

The Community garden located at Amazonia Elementary School is an in ground garden with a 15'x60' fence, and includes strawberry patch and fruit trees outside of the garden area. The garden is located on the back side of the school, atop the hill next to the playground. This garden was established in 2015 in partnership with General Mills Champions for Healthy Kids grant funded the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation and Mosaic Life Cares Community Health Needs Assessment.
