Plan Notes
This plan Is based on member suggestions. The underlying factors are the same. The brown boxes around the plants are drainage ditches for watering. If you look closely there is a built in plan for irragation, (someday, wish kist item as are the water barrels.) The Strawberries are in a raised bed built out of cedar. If anyone has any more ideas please let me know before Saturday. There are also Corn Squash/Pumpkns) and Pole Beans planted together. (Three Sister Planting) or Native American. The beans and Squash vines grow up the corn stalks and protect them from the wind while they produce much needed nitrogen for the corn and help prevent insects from getting to the plants.
